Little Buddy/Big Buddy Mentorship

Tierra Adentro NM strives to ensure a safe and secure learning environment for all our students.  Throughout the year, YANA (You Are Not Alone-- Anti-bully, Social Justice, and Inclusion Group) student leaders participate in multiple campaigns and activities.  We are partnered with Beyond Differences and lead three major campaigns throughout the year including:  Get to Know Your Classmates, No One Eats Alone, and Be Kind Online. We are dedicated to creating a school culture where all students feel welcomed.

In addition, students participate in community service activities through collecting donations for the holidays for our families in need within our school.   Students learn leadership skills of public speaking with presentation in the classroom as well as marketing skills of fundraising and networking with the community at large.  We meet once a week during Advisory class.
